Nylon Nightmares

Ever since sneaking and peeking in the bedrooms of my Auntie’s and Grandma’s houses as a 1970’s little girl finding glamorous and fascinating hot pink lipsticks and golden scent bottles amongst naughty nylons I have had a deep enduring love of 1960’s lingerie!! the cheapness, the glorious technicolour shades of powder pinks, blues, lemons and lilacs, sheer and static shocking cloudy marvels of early synthetic fabrics, rudimentary bra fit shapes we’d never settle for now but that were sooo excitingly sexy and just a whole lot of bright, joyful design.. I’ve bought up nearly every 60’s piece of lingerie or nylon fabric and trim that I’ve seen in the last 20 years… Watch this space always for what’s going to come from the hoard….
