Recycled shirt cotton DIY gift set
Recycled shirt cotton DIY gift set
It takes more than 2700 litres of water as well as human labour and energy to make one shirt. Cotton shirts make up some of the highest volume in clothing waste, often going straight to landfill for a small stain or worn collars and cuffs… BUT they are made from some of the most high grade and beautiful of cotton poplins, twills, sateens, lawns and gingham fabrics.
We aim to extend the useful life of shirts by turning them into lovely pants AND teaching as many people as we can how to make them to achieve the WIN WIN of waste reduction and free pants for life
This is a lovely gift idea including one pair of cute pants made out of recycled shirt cottons and one of our make kits with patterns for sizes 8-16, instructions and elastics to inspire knicker makers everywhere
size S/M will fit UK8-12 size M/L will fit UK12-16
Shirt knickers get made in batches and sent out every few weeks as they are ready, please let us know if it is for a special occasion so we can make sure your order is with you in good time. November and December orders will be assumed to be needed by Christmas
